On Monday, August 4, FOX presents Teen Choice 2008 with host Miley Cyrus! This will be the show’s 10th annual special and will celebrate the coolest teenage icons in film, television, music, comedy, sports, and fashion.
It comes as no surprise, then, that Taylor Swift has been chosen as a 2008 Teen Choice Nominee for Breakthrough Artist in Music.
As of Friday, June 20, fans age 13—19 can vote for their favorite nominees at www.teenchoiceawards.com. Winners will be announced from the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, CA during a two hour celebration broadcast.

Nashville country music singer Taylor Swift is the newest star of MTV’s reality T.V. show, Once Upon a Prom. The show premieres at 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 21 and will follow Swift as she chooses everything from which one of 40 lucky guys will be her date to the perfect prom dress.
Swift will also give viewers an extra treat as she shares outrageous prom stories, gets the scoop on celebrities’ proms, and much more.
Not only is this a great opportunity for the senior class of Hillcrest High in Tuscaloosa, AL, but also for Swift who missed her own prom because of a conflict in scheduling.
Also, don’t miss her June 16-19 when she’ll be co-hosting on TRL. At the end of the week, she is scheduled to perform “Our Song” and “Picture to Burn.”
